Happy Easter!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter. I didn't get to many photos for some reason, I guess I had my hands full with Nater Tator. But here are a few.

Ashley, Josh and the girls came down to J-ville to visit and are staying with Josh's parents. They invited us down for Easter dinner. It was delicious and is was great to see everyone. Nathan had a blast with Emerson, who is a hoot.
I asked Emerson to make a funny face, this is what she came up with.

Such A Fun Day

Today was a fun day. Not only did I have precious Soren (12 wks old) today, but I also had little ms. Ava (10 months/Nate's lil' girlfriend). Gabby (8), our neighbor from across the street, came over to play with Nathan and ended up lending a hand with all three. So many beautiful babies, I think I'm getting an itch. ;)

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

Nathan won 1st place in the egg walking contest!

Nathan caught the biggest egg there (Daddy's head)!

Playing outside before Jacob and Shaa'Neen had to leave

Nathan fell at the park, in case you noticed the scrapes on his nose.

A little bit of wrestling before bath time

At the movies with Shaa'Neen and Jacob

This photo is blurry b/c it was a long exposure shot, my hand wasn't that steady. You still get the idea of the photo, its Nathans first official movie...Horton Hears A Who. The movie was 1 hour 35 mins, we lasted 1 hour 20 mins.

Nathan playing a car game, not really, but he didn't know the difference.

Shaa'Neen and Jacob visit! - A Day at the Zoo

Shaa'Neen and Jacob came to visit for a few days. We decided to take them to the zoo. We had a good time and Nathan and Jacob seem to be the best of buds.

The Passing Of My Grandfather

On our way up to Maryland, my mom called us with the news that my grandfather had passed away. His funeral was on Tuesday so we extended our trip to go. It was really neat to hear stories about my grandfather when he was younger. One of my favorites was when my great grandmother was about to give birth to my Great Aunt Mary. She was having problems and needed help. Living on a farm in western Maryland, it was winter and there was a blizzard out, my Great Grandfather had to put Poppy on the farm work horse to ride to the next farm to get help. And he did. He was 4 1/2 years old.
