My 10 Year High School Reunion...

So after getting to Maryland on Friday, we attended my 10 year high school reunion on Saturday. Leading up to this event, as several of you know, I tried very hard to umm... improve (i guess is the word) my appearance from my frumpy high school look. I chopped 5 inches off my hair, bought a new outfit, tried to lose some baby weight (didn't happen) etc.  I thought maybe I had suceeded, but as my reunion classmates voted on various superlatives, I would be proven otherwise. 

Incase you can't read it, I was voted Changed the Least, hahaha!

I've been told to take it as a compliment, so I am.

Nonetheless, it was a good time and it was great to see my good friends and some old friends. Afterwards, Tricia, Kristen and I, went for icecream with our hubbies. The boys came along too.

Happy 5 Year Anniversary to us!

Although we spent the day driving to Maryland, we stopped and reflected on all the great memories we've had thus far. And two children later, we love each other more than the day we got married. I guess thats a good sign. We are truly blessed to have one another, and for our beautiful family. While home we attempted to hike to our special spot at a local park, but with two kids, we didn't make it very far. We wanted to visit the spot where Ben and I carved our name in a tree, 10 years ago, proclaiming our love. Although we didn't make it this trip, hopefully we'll make it when we return in December.

It was so hard to leave for Maryland knowing Kelly and the fam would not be here when we got back. Here are a few pics from the day, plus a slide show of Nathan with his best friend Ava...

Girl's Night Out for Kelly...

Before we left for Maryland, us Gals had a girl's night out in honor of Kelly, who was soon leaving for  Vancouver BC. We had a great time. We went to a Japanese Steak House first, where it happen to be (wink) Kelly's Birthday, hence the hat. Following dinner we went bowling.

We're Home!!!

After a wonderful 25 day trip to Maryland, we are home! I have so much to post, so bare with me as I catch up on what we've been up to. Hope everyone is doing great!
